Year 2 Summer Externship Experience

As you know, Year Two focuses on Scholars’ career exploration and workforce readiness. Throughout this academic year, Scholars were encouraged to think about their future and were given opportunities to explore a variety of careers aligned with their interests and strengths. Additionally, the program designed and facilitated numerous activities in which Scholars learned and practiced the key skills needed to succeed in the workplace. All of these activities culminate in the summer’s BridgeUP Year 2 Externship Experience where Scholars are expected to gain valuable work experience and learn more about different careers. Moreover, the externship will provide Scholars with another meaningful experience that they can write about in their college admissions essay next summer, during BridgeUP’s College Prep Boot Camp.
